Tankless Water Heaters:

The tankless Rinnai systems use innovative technology, to ensure convenience and comfort within your water system. You will have an endless supply of hot water that can be used anytime. The wall units are easily installed and the size of a suitcase, so they help to save space in the home.

The units are also eco-friendly and help to conserve natural resources, this includes water, as well as producing less CO2 emissions. A tankless hot water heater in the home uses up to 40% less energy. The Rinnai tankless water heater will last a long time which is of great benefit to homeowners. The life span of this heater can actually last up to two times as long as a traditional water heater. The system also helps to use less energy than a traditional tank, and has the option for recirculation. By utilizing this feature, you will have faster hot water in the home, with less wasted water as a result.

Conventional Water Heaters:

Conventional, or traditional water heaters, store and preheat the water in a tank using air from inside the room, vented with a C-vent. Anytime someone in your home has a shower, does laundry, or washes the dishes, the preheated water will go through the home. A thermostat and gas valve unit controls the burner, so once the water is replaced by cold inlet water, the hot gases rise up the flue and transfer the heat to the water. The gases will leave the house through the chimney. They do not require electricity.

Power Vented Water Heaters:

Power-vented gas-fired water heaters are similar in construction to conventional gas-fired water heaters. The difference is, they have a fan that pushes the exhaust gases out a sidewall of the house through a vent. There is no chimney required, so this kind of water heater is compatible with sidewall-vented high-efficiency furnaces.
